bright sunny day? – 100-200 ISO films. reliable besties include kodak pro-image 100, kodacolor 200, gold 200. wanna get a bit fancier? try portra 160!

a bit cloudy or sunny but early am/later pm? – 200-400 ISO films. Ultramax 400 is a staple but Portra 400 will get you more likes on Instagram. Shooting something special – Portra 400 is a professional grade film.

it’s dark outside? – try 800+ ISO films. Reflx Lab 640T is the most affordable or you can splurge for the likes once again and load Cinestill 800T (although it’s the same stuff).

shooting inside? – go for the tungsten-balanced films 500+ ISO. Reflx Lab 640T again.

want to do really long exposures but kinda during the day or super long at night? – ISO 25 and below might be a good option.
