- name & preferred pronouns
- social media handle/link (instagram, tiktok, bluesky, or substack)
- attached article/images
- At least 300+ words
- no more than five images under 150KB per post
keep in mind, everything on this site is super safe for work so don’t submit anything even remotely borderline because it will be immediately deleted from the inbox. we are not interested in “model photography” either.
here are topics we are looking for:
- news – see something cool come out recently? if we haven’t covered it, we’d love to hear about it!
- film cameras – tell us about your favorite camera and why, share your favorite images.
- films & formats (including alternative processes like cyanotypes) – what films do you like best? have you tried a recently released film? tell us about it 🙂
- developing – tips and tricks for beginners? got-em, share-em.
- scanning – there are 10s of ways/setups to/for scan/convert film, share yours
- printing – easy to follow printing tips/stories, share what you made and how you made it
- film labs – do you have a favorite one? tell us about them, what makes them special? interview them and submit it here 🙂
- archiving – do you stuff your negatives in a shoe box? or are they neatly arranged in a binder? tell us about your system
- a mix of the above
